May 28th, 2008 · No Comments
Today’s travel story (sorry, can’t help it) is about the cab driver who took me from my home to the airport. First of all, he was late, and then he couldn’t find my home address. In this day and age a cab driver without a navi is surprising, but he didn’t have one. In any [...]

Regrettably, it was too late for the poor sucker as I had already microwaved the coffee.

Why Not to Eat on Planes
May 24th, 2008 · No Comments
I’ve found another good reason to avoid the food they offer you on air planes. According to a BBC News health story, humans can combat jet lag by forcing themselves into the food rhythm of their destination timezone. Quotes from the doctor who did the research:

Sign of the Times

Fan-subs used to say in the opening of an episode:
“Not for sale, rent, or auction.”
These days, it has become:
“Not for sale, rent, auction, or online streaming.”
I guess that’s to prevent services like YouTube and crappy roll from benefiting from fan-subs and hurting the community.
